I emailed comcast Mon, May 13, 2013 about you overcharging me so much over my basic service and I have no internet service and pay more than my neighbor who does have. I keep being told my phone is $45 and basic tv is $15=$60 plus $4.40 tax. Every time I call I just receive somone reading from a paper. I ask for supervisor, and they never have or get one on, just leave me hanging. This is so horrid to an older person, (grandmother) with terrible disrespect and horrid, wrongful, dishonest business practice and the Gov’t is looking into so many complaints of all kinds. I ask to be called- no calls. This must be stopped and changed immed. so you don’t keep offending your customers and be a REAL BUSINESS.

COMCAST…. boo. It’s unfathomable to me that Comcast’s customer service is SO. BAD. In the process of installing 2 new TVs in our basement, I called Comcast to have a technical issue worked out. The technician couldn’t get his arms around the problem, and then when i tried to schedule someone to make a service call, I couldn’t because I’m “not the authorized account holder”. Oh- wait. That’s my husband- who isn’t here, and we are not able to reach. But- I’M the one who pays the bill, who set up the account, and manages all of these details in our home. When i called these facts to the agent’s attention, he hung up on me. Reminds me of the time I tried to pay a Comcast bill over the phone, but was not able to do so because I’m “not the authorized account holder”. Riiiight. LAME.

I called for the Comcast service and then cancelled immediately two weeks ago. The Comcast did cancel the installation and never perform any services. I didn’t sign any paper or online, but they sent me the bill and kept calling me for the payment. Their customer support is the worst. What a Comcrap!

    Patrick (and others) –
Keep the receipt for your purchased cable modem and WATCH YOUR BILL. Comcast has a comcastic way of – somehow – determining that YOUR cable modem is theirs ! That number they need from your cable modem is the MAC ID address.

The phone agent has to specifically indicate in their computer system that the modem is CUSTOMER-OWNED. Also, it is “odd” how whenever a tech does a home visit and scans in the CUSTOMER-OWNED cable modem MAC ID that – surprise !! – that cable modem suddenly becomes Comcast equipment.

The ONLY way to get the charge off your bill is to show them your receipt. This is a nation-wide problem …

Customer service is very bad. No one knows what they are doing. I made appointment for a service . They made it for the morning. I took off from work and stayed home for the technician to show up. Since the person did not show up I called the girl who answered wanted my husband to call I called again and they kept me on hod for 45 minutes and the final answer was that the technician will call me in ..2 hours meanwhile I lost a whole days pay. I dot understand why they cannot give a window of time.

My complaints are not customer service related, just general service related. I wanted to come here every time I had a complaint with regular service. But if I did, Id be on here like 4 times a day, and I cant do that. Comcrap, Concast is the worst. Let me knowwhen the protest begins.
